Though crafted in the 18th century high country style, our Tiger Maple Entertainment Cabinets are designed to fully accomodate today's modern technology. The interior dimensions of an Eldred Wheeler Tiger Maple Entertainment Cabinet support a sizable flat screen TV, cable box, DVR, DVD player, gaming console and more. TheThe Tiger Maple Entertainment Cabinet is available as a stand alone piece, or with additional bookcases for a larger space.
In order to create a visually attractive surface, wide boards are used wherever possible, Eldred Wheeler searches throughout New England to find premium select woods of tiger maple. The wood is carefully stacked and dried; and then only after it has reached the proper moisture content, is it ready to be used to craft a chest.
At Eldred Wheeler, we utilize these time proven techniques for all of our antique reproduction furniture. Each piece is then planed by hand and scraped to achieve a surface typical of fine 18th Century American antiques.
Hanover Factory & Factory Store
An Open House is set for Oct. 1st at the new Hanover, MA. Factory and Factory Store located at 199 Winter St., Hanover, MA.
Continuous events are planned between 10 AM and 5 PM including Wood Carving demonstrations, Silent Auction and Drawing. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
Featured at the event is a collection of over 60 finished and ‘ready for finish’ pieces. All pieces are specially priced for this event and local deliveries can be made the day of the event.
Finished pieces are completed and the finish and hardware applied and ready to go. Ready for finish pieces are fully constructed and the type of finish and hardware can be specified by the customer and completed in as little as three weeks.

Eldred Wheeler is the fulfillment of a dream to create antique reproduction entertainment cabinets, chests, beds, cupboards, tables, hutches, cabinets, desks and bookcase in the same manner as early American cabinet makers.
