Chippendale Side Chairs
Occasionally Eldred Wheeler furniture will find its way back to us, which is the case with the beautiful natural cherry Chippendale Side Chairs with carved pierced splats. The pierced splats are a late 18th century Massachusetts design referred to as owl-eye splats because the design resembles the face of an owl. These chairs are truly a collector's item as only 200 of them were made by Eldred Wheeler over twenty-five years ago. Circa 1780-1790.
